Netflix’s adaptation of East of Eden reimagines East of Eden for a contemporary audience, bringing the sweeping multi-generational drama to screen through richly detailed period environments and expansive cinematic worldbuilding. Set against the evolving landscape of early 20th-century California, the series combines intimate character storytelling with large-scale historical production design.

As Set Designer, I contributed to the technical development and execution of key environments, helping translate the series’ period authenticity and emotional tone into immersive, visually grounded spaces that supported both the scale and intimacy of the narrative.
